January

This is my strips so far for January...I chose yellows for sunny January here.
Hearts are for our 34th wedding anniversary...xmas trees for the day I put away the decorations.

My strips are 1"x10''...I didn't want the finished quilt to get too big.

Hi Annmarie. Thanks for visiting my blog and giveaway. I KNOW - out of all those blogs (over 500 now?) there are very, very few quilting or fiber related. Thanks for bookmarking me I have marked you, as well as I am fascinated with this "calendar quilt". Can you e-mail me and tell me about this. I'd like to join in the fun, perhaps. What are the rules and what do you make with all those strips??

I love you small stips. I might wish I had made mine smaller - or I might make smaller ones for different months. I change my mind daily on this, which is one of the reasons it is so much fun.

This is adorable! Love the play of the fabrics, and the narrow strips work very, very well!

Good job!

Christine, I’m afraid mine won’t only be “too big” but it will be huge! But that’s ok, maybe I’ll be able to keep some covers then for a change.
I do love the bright colors in it. So very fresh compared to the nasty weather I keep looking at outside our window!

Very nice. You have had a lot of sunny days compared to where I live. I really like the Christmas tree fabric.
