Added a Few More...

Okay, I've added a few more fabrics and I'm up to 13 days, what else should I add? I'm not sure I have anything else (that's leftover, yet...) that I've used in January. Any ideas? I did make two thread baskets, dare I use those fabrics?

Thoughts?

Oh that's a toughy! I just used all my scraps, not just from that month! I'm no help!

I say go ahead and just use scraps from past projects or cut from your stash. If you start looking through things, your bound to find pieces that just have to go into upcoming projects!
Enjoy your day!

Lordy if I had to use from what I've been working on there would be nothing to put in at all. DH and I go through my stash and find a fabric that matches the events of the day or a mood or season or feeling and use it each day.
Looking good so far, keep up the good work!

I so agree, don't limit yourself to just what you have used this month. All I have worked on this month were UFOs: I used strips from December and a couple from a scrap bag that I have been meaning to go through anyway. So far I have not run out of fabric to use for this. I figure it will get harder further into the year.

Remember, it is YOUR quilt. There are no hard and fast rules. Maybe you could add fabrics that say January to you. Just have fun, Gloria. Barb C from Spokane

I'm thinking about repeating scraps from projects according to hw much I used the fabric. For January so far I have about 19 different fabrics that I have used in projects. But some of those fabrics I have used in more than one project or much more extensively than others. So I think I will have more than one strip of those particular fabrics in my block for January.
