Hey!

Hey everyone! I am Dianah from Stockton, Ca. I am 34 years old, mom to Delaney (2) and wife to Scott (6 years). I have been sewing for 30 years and still have my first sewing machine, it doesn't work though. I have a degree in Fashion Design and am an avid quilter. I teach a few classes at our local quilt shop and sew samples for them.


I am VERY excited about making a Calendar Quilt. I have even started already! My stripes are cut 1 1/2" x 12 1/2". I will have 4 rows of 92" x 12" with sashing and borders. My first stripe of each month will embroider the month on it. I am also deciding if I want to do some extra embellishments.


Can't wait to see what everyone is doing for their quilt! Here's mine...

Each stripe is from a project I worked on that day. With the exception of the top one is for New Year's.
